FEATURES
The ductile iron body structure with flanged connection compliant with the EN 1092-2 standard provides high strength and long-lasting use.
The ball, made of polyethylene material, has a structure that can be easily replaced when necessary.
The Single Orifice Air Valve draws air from the pipeline through the flange connection on the pipeline and releases it into the atmosphere through the drain orifice on the float.
When air venting is complete, the float rises with the buoyancy of the water and closes the outlet, preventing water leaks.
It ensures that air accumulated within the system is safely vented during the commissioning of the pipeline.
When the air inside the pipe is vented, the fluid flows freely and the float inside the body rises and settles into the seal seat; the orifice closes.
When full pipelines need to be drained, it allows air to enter in a controlled manner instead of liquid.
The body and cover are made of flexible ductile iron protected with a blue epoxy coating.
