FEATURES
PE100 pipes are produced in coils up to 125mm diameter or as straight pipes in lengths of 6, 12, and 13.5 meters upon request. Pipes with diameters above 125mm are only produced as straight pipes in lengths of 6, 12, and 13.5 meters.
Additionally, production can be carried out in custom sizes based on customer requests.
PE100 (HDPE) pipe has a design life of 50 years.
PE100 (HDPE) pipes, due to their molecular structure, have an elongation capacity of over 500% and are unaffected by ground movements (earthquakes, landslides, etc.), remaining intact at their connection points. They continue to function even after natural disasters caused by ground movements (earthquakes, landslides, etc.).
PE100 (HDPE) pipes have a lower friction coefficient compared to ductile iron, steel, and similar pipes. This allows for the use of smaller diameter pipes in pressurized drinking water lines and enables the selection of lower-energy pumps, resulting in savings in initial investment and operating costs.
It is designed to be used safely in both above-ground and underground installations.
It does not corrode due to the fluid flowing through it and the soil structure outside.
It is suitable for health because it does not change the smell, taste, or color of water.
Its elastic structure provides 500% elongation capacity; it absorbs expansion by stretching during earthquakes and landslides; breakage or tearing does not occur.
Since it is produced with carbon black additive, it is resistant to ultraviolet rays from the sun.
It retains its elastic properties even when the temperature drops to -40°C and is not adversely affected by volume increase due to expansion.
Since it is joined using butt welding or EF welding systems, the resulting seam is seamless, preventing foreign materials such as groundwater, plant and tree roots from entering the pipeline.
